General Manager Expression of Interest

Are you a leader and self starter that can get things done? Have you had experience managing a small team of staff and contractors? Are you an excellent communicator with a flair for social media? Would you like to work part time, 20 hours per week? Then you may just be the right kind of person we are looking for.

Selwyn United Football Club are looking for a Club General Manager. This contracted role will work closely with the Board, Administration Manager, Director of Football, Football Development Officer and other contracted /volunteer roles to ensure the smooth and successful running of the club.

As Club General Manager you will be responsible to ensure that all sectors of the Club’s off field operations are managed effectively and efficiently and that football products are developed, enhanced and delivered in line with the Club’s values and vision and within set budgets. Having a proven record of securing sponsorship and grant funding will be a definite bonus, but not an absolute necessity.
